Demi Lovato has the best fans in the world, or at least those with the best gift-making skills.
The Skyscraper singer has shared a picture of a present she received from one of her fans on her Instagram stories.
Lovato took to her Instagram stories on May 6 to share a video of a new mug she’s been using that has quickly become her favorite.
The slanted mug bears the color of the rainbow flag and the words “I’m so gay I can’t even drink straight”.
“New favorite mug,” Lovato wrote.
“I have the best fans,” she added with a loudly crying face emoji.
The singer has always been outspoken about being attracted to multiple genders.
Last year, she said she had Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair in 1999 movie Cruel Intentions to thank for her sexual awakening. Gellar plays wealthy, scheming teenager Katherine de Merteuil, while Blair is the innocent Cecile Caldwell, whom Katherine takes under her wing to help her navigate the dating world. Katherine’s dating workshop also included a making out session at the park.
“It was definitely when I was young and should not have been watching Cruel Intentions, but I did and it was that scene where [Gellar and Blair’s characters] made out on the park lawn,” the singer said in a discussion with Queer Eye's Tan France for National Coming Out Day 2020.
“I was just like, ‘Oh, wait a minute — I really like that, I wanna try it,’” she continued.
“And then, when I was like 17, I did get down with that," she continued. "And that’s when I knew.”
The movie’s cast also includes Ryan Phillippe as Katherine’s step-brother and lover Sebastian and Reese Witherpoon as Sebastian’s love interest Annette Hargrove.

The singer, however, also has another mug she’s very fond of as it is a testament to her eating disorder recovery journey.
On May 5, the singer took to her Instagram to share a video of a pink ceramic mug with the words “I am worth it” written on it.
She explained how her National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) mug has been an important symbol of her recovery journey.
“This is the @neda symbol for eating disorder recovery. I painted this at @colormemine years ago.. even though I was in the throes of my eating disorder, I still made this in hopes that I would truly believe it some day,” Lovato wrote.
“I still struggle. Daily. There are periods of time where I forget about my food struggles and other times it’s all I think about. Still. But that is what ED recovery looks like for some people and I still have hope that someday I won’t think about it anymore. For now my mug reminds me that I am worth it, and today I believe it,” she continued.
